The RMTN has invited Bob Page to the Dunn Richmond Center for a 12-Lead Training Opportunity. CEUs Available - August 26-27, 2011.

We are distributing our RMTN Non-Emergency Transportation Resource Guides to area hospitals, and also gaining valuable quantitative and qualitative data pertaining to transit options for EMS workers and hospital case managers.

ABOUT THIS SITE
The Rural Medical Transportation Network (RMTN) strives to coordinate cost-effective rides to doctors’ offices, hospitals, and other locations for people who need help with transit.

Central Illinois Public Transit (CIPT) A non-emergency general public transportation provider to the following counties: Clay, Douglas, Fayette, Montgomery, Moultrie and Shelby counties. All vehicles are accessible and drivers are trained to assist with the needs of persons with disabilities. Service is available to anyone who resides within our service area. Jackson County Mass Transit District (JCMTD) A non-emergency general public transportation provider to Jackson County, Illinois. All vehicles are accessible and drivers are trained to assist with the needs of persons with disabilities. Service is available to anyone who reside within our service area. Rides Mass Transit (RMTD) A non-emergency general public transportation provider to the following counties: Cumberland, Crawford, Edwards, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jasper, Lawrence, Pope, Richland, Saline, Wabash, Wayne, White, and Williamson. All vehicles are accessible and drivers are trained to assist with the needs of persons with disabilities. Shawnee Mass Transit District (SMART) A state and federally funded non-profit public transit system. The counties we serve are Alexander, Pulaski, Johnson, Massac, and Union; we provided non-emergency trips for the general public. All of our vehicles are equipped with lifts and ramps making them accessible to anyone. Our drivers are trained in First Aid, CPR, and passanger assistance, and they are able to meet the needs of passengers with dissabilities and provide assistance as needed. South Central Illinois Mass Transit District (SCT) The state designated public transportation provider for the Illinois counties of Clinton, Marion, Jefferson, Washington, Franklin and Perry. Our vehicles are accessible and range in size from mini-vans to 30-passenger busses. Our drivers are trained to assist with the needs of persons with disabilities.
